THIRD GRADE WEEKLY NEWSLETTER

                              Miss Zaker’s Class

Each year, I am amazed at how quickly the school year passes.  I remember the first day of school, the anticipation on every students’ face, wondering how the school year will be and how the teacher will act.

A secret, that most teachers do not share, is that we teachers have the same fear and anticipation on the first day of school.  Will this class follow the rules?  Will they be able to work together?  Questions like these can keep even an experienced teacher up at night.

This year, after meeting the students for the first time, all that worry subsided.  I was amazed at the kindness, respect, and knowledge that the class portrayed.  All of these qualities were evident throughout the entire school year.

I would like to give a special thank you to Mrs. Werner and Mrs. Carder for all of their hard work organizing class parties and crafts.  The time and effort that was put into these days was exemplified with the smiles on the students’ faces.

I would also like to thank Mrs. Crawford and Mrs. Schippits for an amazing school year.  These amazing women have been here throughout the year participating in many of the crazy events that I put together in the classroom.  We will also wish a farewell and happy retirement to Mrs. Watkins and Mrs. Murray.  Good luck on all your future endeavors and I will truly miss your guidance.

Finally,  I would like to give a special thank you to all of my students.  Each day, you brighten my day.  As the end of the year is upon us, I must say what a true honor it has been to be your child’s teacher.  Each student has made memories that I will never forget and cherish in my heart always. I look forward to hearing from you and finding out all of your accomplishments to come.  Please always remember; Luck is for rabbits!

Sincerely,

Miss Zaker
